I am studying bachelor of biomedical sciences and i think the major themes of the course apply to my program of study.
In science it is very important that we work with computer programs that have a easy to use interface (because what we are doing or trying to do with the software is already difficult!) so it would really make a difference if software could mediate our experience easily and that also makes us realize what we can really do with computers in relation to Science (power of computer). The course made us realize that there isn't only one software that we can use for a purpose and that is the case in science as well.
I know a few people who have a blog explaining about the projects on the internet, and the produces to consumer theme of the course really applies to that.
